Tyler Pilarcik is a team lead on the Esri Utility Solution Engineer team based out of Redlands, California. He has been with Esri eight years, with six of those dedicated to helping utilities adopt and leverage ArcGIS technology to solve major challenges in the industry today. Before Esri, he acquired a bachelor’s degree in Geography – GIS at the University of California Santa Barbara and recently completed the MGIS program at Penn State University. During his time at those universities, his major projects consisted of analyzing potential avian influenza outbreaks in Southern California and determining wildfire vulnerability across Los Angeles County.
