Amelia Badders is responsible for delivering predictive analytics products to the enterprise to accelerate and increase value delivery to the CPS Energy customers. Over the past 3 years she assembled a team that includes data engineering, data science, visualization and advanced machine learning skills which now makes up the Enterprise Advanced Analytics department, which was established in July of 2018.
During her 24 year tenure at CPS Energy she has had the opportunity to develop expertise energy market operations, contract negotiation, risk management, financial planning as well as cost allocation and regulated rate design. She played key project lead roles in several corporate initiatives, including process redesign, the company-wide visioning process (2003), the RFP process that led to the development of the 400 MW Solar Project.
Badders holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from East Carolina University and a Master of Science Degree in Management of Technology from the University of Texas as San Antonio.
