Juan is a Manager of Analytics at Consumers Energy. Currently, his team is composed UI/UX developers, industrial engineers, data scientists and engineers. The team aims to provide Consumers Energy’s Generation Operations with various analytics tools and automated processes. Some use cases included: Solar Farm Exception model, Generation Portal Forecast Automation, and Fuel Handling Automation application. Juan loves using R to solve data problems. Dplyr, lubridate, and Janitor are some of his favorite packages to use. Outside of work, he is a college football nerd, pizza lover, and world traveler.
