Daniel Sommerhauser joined the Royals in January 2022 as the Director of Business Analytics. In his role, he contributes to ticketing, marketing, financial and logistics data analysis and strategy leadership. Before joining the Royals, Daniel spent eight years as a data scientist at Cerner Corporation, and previously worked for the RAND Corporation and McDonald’s Corporation in data science roles.
Daniel graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with an undergraduate degree in Mathematics (2006) and a master’s degree in Statistics (2009). He lives in Platte City, MO with his wife, Tara, and daughter, Violet.
